• Do not use any topical products that cause photosensitivity in the treatment areas for three days before treatment.
• Avoid sun exposure and do not use UV tanning beds at all for two weeks before treatment.
• Do not have Botox injections, dermal filler injections, chemical peels or microdermabrasion in the treatment area for at least 14 days before laser hair removal.
• Any treatment areas should be shaved completely at least 12-24 hours prior to your appointment to avoid irritation.

• Only shave. Any other form of hair removal may result in reversing the treatment undertaken.
• Avoid UV rays (both Sun and Artificial) for at least one week pre and post laser. Please make sure you are applying SPF 30+ following treatment if you are going to be exposed to UV rays.
• Avoid applying cosmetics to the treated area for 24 hours, if skin is feeling sensitive.
• Avoid Hot water, Saunas & Steam Rooms for 24 hours post laser.
• Lightly exfoliate the treated area 7-10 days following treatment to help promote "shedding". This means you will start to see hair falling out with ease.

Typically, 6 to 8 sessions and additional treatments (top up sessions) are recommended every 6 to 12 months to keep any dormant hairs at bay. The number of sessions will be different from person to person with a minimum of 6 treatments being required.
Hair growth occurs in four stages: Early Anagen (early hair growth), Anagen (active hair growth), Catagen (regression) and Telogen (resting, not growing). Laser hair removal only affects the Anagen stage, (actively growing hair). Therefore, approximately 25 percent of hair is removed with each treatment. After 6 to 8 treatments, the area should be free from hair. Additional top up sessions are recommended every 6 to 12 months to keep any dormant hairs at bay.
No. Soprano™ has no “down time” and requires no recovery time. You can have a treatment and return to work or other normal activities immediately.
Most people find the Soprano™ laser hair removal treatment comfortable, especially when compared with other hair removal methods and lasers. This is one of few laser hair removal procedures where numbing cream is not necessary. Pain is subjective, however, so if you find it otherwise simply tell us.

Actively growing hairs that are treated should not grow back. Once a hair follicle is damaged it cannot grow hair. It is not unusual for patients to have a top up session once every 6 to 12 months, depending on hair type.
